<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oil immersed type terminal connecting portion capable of preventing deterioration of insulating performance for a long period of time by forming a reinforcing insulating body constituting a connecting portion by forming with a layer wound by polyethylene tape produced by a low pressure method. SOLUTION: Polyethylene to be used must be produced by a low pressure method and its density must be less than 0.95g/cm<3> but more than 0.93g/cm<3> . If this range is exceeded, the deformation of the reinforcing insulating body cannot be suppressed. And external semi-conductive layer of a portion about, 1000mm from the end portion of CV cable 1 is removed and an insulating body is exposed, and emboss tape using polyethylene stated above is wound around the outer periphery, and a reinforcing and insulating body 6 is formed, which consists of a tape wound layer about 50mm in thickness. Moreover, a bell-mouth 7 is provided, oiltight mold portions 3 and 4 are formed, a bushing 8 made of epoxy resin on which a flange 9 and an upper fittings 15 are provided, a lower fittings 10, 12 and other parts are attached and then insulating oil 13 is filled inside. As a result, a terminal connecting portion having no possibility of deterioration of insulation performance can be obtained.</p> |
