PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially reduce a data gathering cost by gathering the measurement data of electricity, city water or gas, etc., in respective households for several houses and transmitting them from an existing personal handy phone(PHP) terminal to a charging center by using an existing PHS line network. SOLUTION: When the time set in the TIM (timer) 13 of a DTS (measurement data tarnsmitter) 1A comes, a CNV (conversion part) 12 adds the ID number of the household and measurement date and time data to the meter reading data of an MT (meter) 11 and transmits them as the measurement data to a PHPT 2. In the PHPT 2, when the measurement data are demodulated in an M/D 22A and transmitted to a CTL (control part) 23, the ID number of the DTS 1A read from a MEM (storage part) 21 and the ID number inside the received measurement data are collated, and when they match, the measurement data are stored in the MEM 21. When the prescribed date and time come, the CTL 23 confirms that the latest measurement data of all the households belonging to its own terminal are stored in the MEM 21. The CTL 23 of the PHPT 2 sends the measurement data of all the households belonging to its own terminal through a CCT(communication control part) 24, a TRX(transmission/reception part) 25, an antenna 26, a CS (public communication network) 3 and a PSTN (PHS base station) 4 to a CHC(charging center) 5 once a month. |
