PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the title transformer excellent in cooling efficiency, inexpensive and light in weight by a construction wherein an insulating sheet of which the curvature can be changed arbitrarily by a plurality of cuts formed in parallel with a corner part of a primary winding is divided and disposed at this corner part as an insulation between the primary winding and a secondary winding and the secondary winding is wound round on the insulating sheet as an interposition. SOLUTION: Insulating spacers 17 are disposed at four corner parts 16 of a core 15 and a primary winding 18 is wound round on the spacers as interpositions. At four corner parts 20 of the primary winding 18, an insulating sheet 22 of which the curvature can be changed arbitrarily by a plurality of cuts formed in parallel with the corner part 20 is divided and disposed as an insulation between the primary winding 18 and a secondary winding 19, and the secondary winding 19 is wound round on the divided insulating sheets 22 as interpositions. These insulating sheets 22 are so disposed as to cover the outer periphery of the primary winding 18 on extensions of straight lines connecting the central axis 23 of the core 15 and the four corner parts 16 thereof, and they are so disposed as to be curved smoothly like a curved surface with the cuts thereof made parallel with the corner parts 16 of the core 15.
