<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily mount a protective cap, and fix a cable to a structure through only fastening a locknut, by interposing a packing and a collar between the locknut fixed by caulking the protective cap and a joing main body. SOLUTION: The connecting part 8 of a joint main body 2 is threadedly engaged with a structure, to be connected and fixed, to draw a cable having a disired length. Then, a cable is passed through a locknut 3, including a packing 4, a collar 5, and a protective cap 6, caulked by a ring member 7, to threadedly engage the locknut 3 with a joint main body 2, to be fastened, thereby pressing the end surface of the packing 4 in a radial directional inner direction on the tilted surfaces of the joint main body 2 and the collar 5. This elastically deforms the packing 4 to be pressed to the outer peripheral surface of the cable, to close the connecting part, and also to be held so as to make the cable unfallen.</p> |
