PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multilayer test kit adapted to detect blood simple component by forming a sample-coated layer out of a graphite nonwoven fabric or graphite woven fabric. SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric of graphite fiber contains graphite fiber having a mean fiber diameter of about 7μm, weight/unit area of about 30g/m<2> , and a thickness of about 0.5mm, and black nonwoven fabric containing crosslinked polyvinyl alcohol binder of about 20 to 24wt.% and having high tear strength. Similarly, the graphite woven fabric formed from the graphite fiber is adapted for this application. The graphite nonwoven fabric gas excellent wettability to quickly transport liquid in both horizontal and vertical directions due to the hydrophilic property of the binder. Since it is black, after the two- layer test system of a holding layer and a reagent film is coated with blood, the erythrocyte held by the nonwoven fabric is barely visually detected, and it is evaluated as aesthetic advantage, and no interference of a reflectometer occurs. In a current test, the graphite nonwoven fabric layer can simultaneously perform both capillary function and reference electrode function.
