摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a photosensitive material to exhibit the capability possessed by the material to the max. possible extent and to stably obtain desired diffraction efficiency by executing recording in controlling the temp. and recording light quantity of a hologram recording layer. SOLUTION: The hologram is recorded on the dry process hologram recording layer consisting of a matrix polymer, a photopolymerizable compd. and a photopolymn. initiator system by controlling the temp. and recording light quantity of the hologram recording layer at the time of recording the hologram. While the temp. at the recording layer depends on the softening temp. of the matrix polymer, the execution of the control usually in the range of 0 to 45 deg.C is recommneded. A good result is obtd. if the temp. is properly set according to the desiredΔn and diffraction efficiency. The recording light quantity usually selected within a range of 20 to 100mJ/cm<2> . The approximate exposure is determined by the kinds of the photosensitive material and may be slightly smaller than the exposure in the case the recording temp. is made higher. The exposure slightly larger than the exposure suffices in the case the recording temp. is made lower.
