TERMINAL MODULE, RADIO TERMINAL EQUIPMENT AND RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a portable information terminal equipment small in size and light in weight, to reduce the power consumption and to attain efficient multimedia communication by allowing a terminal module to have reception sections and selection synthesis sections for different frequencies. SOLUTION: First and seconds antennas 7A1, 7A2 of a terminal module receive transmission signals of different 1st and 2nd frequency bands. Received signals are demodulated by 1st and 2nd radio receivers 7B1, 7B2. A format of the reception signal is converted into a format suitable for an output from an output circuit 7D by 1st and 2nd transmission format converters 7C1, 7C2 and fed to a selection synthesis circuit 7E. The selection synthesis circuit 7E selects an output of either of the converters based on a selection signal (d) or synthesizes both the outputs in time division multiplex and gives the result to the output circuit 7D.
