PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth transfer of data readout from the first information face to the second information face, in the continuous reproduction of an optical information recording medium for two-layer type one side reproduction in OTP (opposite track path) method, and also to facilitate the manufacturing process of an optical disk. SOLUTION: The medium is so structured that it is provided with transparent substrates 101, 108 transmitting an optical beam, the first information face 102 on which information can be optically recorded, reproduced or erased, and the second information face 109 on which the information formed on the first face 102 can be optically recorded, reproduced or erased; and that it is also provided with a middle area 105, 112 for transferring an optical beam from the first information face 102 to the second information face 109, in the outer periphery of these faces 102, 109. In this case, it is so designed that the outer peripheral position of the middle area 112 of the second information face 109 is situated on the more outer peripheral side of a disk than that of the middle area 105 of the first information face 102, and that the inner peripheral position of the middle area 112 of the second information face 109 is situated on the more inner peripheral side of the disk than that of the middle area 105 of the first information face 102. |
