PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage the number of recording times of an image for an electronic developing type recording medium in order to judge whether an excellent image is recorded on the electronic developing type recording medium or not. SOLUTION: The image is electrically developed and recorded by the electronic developing type recording medium 30. A data recording area is formed at the outside of an image recording area for recording the image in the electronic developing type recording medium 30. The number of times (use frequency) of the recording operation of the image performed to the electronic developing type recording medium 30 is recorded in the data recording area. The number of times of the recording operation of the use frequency recorded in the data recording area 73 is read out by a magnetic data reproducing head 71.
