PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To draw a map by imparting depth perception and three-dimensional sense to it. SOLUTION: 1) A line-equipped image is prepared in such a configuration that the density of horizontal lines HL1-HL5 in a position ahead of the car concerned increases as going farther from the car position and that the inclination of vertical inclining lines VI1-VI6 increases as going apart in the horizontal direction from the car position, or 2) a gradation image is generated in such a configuration that horizontal lines are made apparent by reducing the lightness ahead of the car as going apart from the car position and that vertical inclining lines are made prominent by narrowing the identical lightness spacing and reducing the lightness as going apart in the horizontal direction from the car position, or 3) otherwise a line-equipped gradation image is generated in such a configuration that the density of horizontal lines HLi in a position ahead of the car increases as going farther from the car position, the inclination of vertical inclining lines VIj increases as going apart in the horizontal direction from the car position, and that the inter-line lightness is decreased as farther separating from the car position. The obtained image is overlapped on the map image so that the intended drawing is completed. |
