PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a mobile station to listen to a message stored in a voice mail function efficiently for a speech time limited in a digital MCA radio system. SOLUTION: The telephone set has a main device 1 incorporating a voice mail system 4 and a connector 2 connecting to the main device 1 and to a digital MCA radio system 3. In this case, when the voice mail system 4 reproduces a voice message from a mobile station 21 of the digital MCA radio system 3, the voice mail system 4 stores the reproduced voice message, a speech elapsed time and a mobile station number of the mobile station 21 to a memory 12 and has a CPU 10, which allows a voice recording/reproducing section 11 to reproduce the voice message in succession to the voice message having been reproduced at preceding connection when the same mobile station 21 is connected again to the voice mail system 4 after the speech interruption.
