PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain an image of high quality over a long period by selectively using an electrifying means, an exposing means and a developing means out of plural electrifying, exposing and developing means. SOLUTION: When a single color of black is specified by a user, the light emission cumulative times used before the specification of first and second laser light emitting devices are calculated/compared by a main CPU, based on the information of a storage part. The laser light emitting device whose cumulative time is shorter is used to form a laser beam. Further, as an electrifier, when a first laser beam L1 is selected, a first electrifier 2 is automatically selected and when a second laser beam L2 is selected, cumulative energizing times are calculated/compared with the information in the storage part, in the same way as the laser beam and the electrifier whose cumulative time is shorter can be selected. Thus, either of the electrifying, exposing and developing means is selectively used. |
