PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set a selection corresponding to a new tendency, as an initial set value by deciding the initial set value on the use conditions of a copying machine, based on information on the past selection frequency of each selection and new and old information on the selection history of each selection. SOLUTION: The sum of points (total point) is calculated for each magnification arrayed according to basic priority shown as the figure (b), based on data of the points with respect to the history information in the figure (a). When there are two or more bits of history information on the same magnification, in the data of the points with respect to the history information in the figure (a), theses points are added to obtain the total point with respect to the history information of the magnification. Each magnification in the figure (b) is arrayed in order of the total point, shown as the figure (c). When a fixed variable magnification mode is set, the magnification is displayed according to display priority shown by the figure (c). In such a case, the magnification of top display priority becomes the initial set value in the fixed variable magnification mode. |
