<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of connecting conductors which has improved connection strength, for OF(oil-filled)-cables, especially, submarine OF-cables which requires still more larger connection strength. SOLUTION: An integral hollow reinforcing pipe 4 has a stopper 41 at the center and oil path insertion sections 42, 42' on both sides of the stopper 41. Each of the oil path insertion sections of the pipe 4 is inserted into an oil path of a conductor which is connected to each side of the pipe 4 until it is stopped by the stopper 41 and is compressed under a conductor connection pipe 5 which covers the conductors. More preferrably, a recess and/or projection is formed on the surface of each of the oil path insertion sections 42, 42' of the integral hollow reinforcing pipe 4 and the oil path insertion sections 42, 42' are fastened to the inner faces of the conductors due to an anchoring effect of the recess and/or projection. Further more preferrably, each of the oil path insertion sections 42, 42' is connected to a spiral pipe in the oil path of each conductor connected.</p> |
