<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load starting method which can correspond to operation without enlarging the size of a generator, with no current suppressing device required on a main power source circuit side and without reducing starting torque. SOLUTION: This method comprises a generator 1 driven by a marine engine, an automatic voltage regulator 5 for adjusting output voltage of the generator 1 so as to be the voltage in accordance with a preset value of a voltage setter and a circuit breaker 9 for opening/closing an output and a load of the generator 1, a marine generating system is started. Here, in the case of connecting a load to the output of the generator through the circuit breaker 9, the preset value of the voltage setter is set a little larger than a rated value, after increasing the output voltage of the generator, the circuit breaker 9 is closed, the load is started by the output power of the generator, after starting the load, the preset value of the voltage setter is returned to the rated value, so as to suppress a drop of bus voltage in a ship, stable operation of a voltage system in a ship bus 10 can be performed, also the generator in small size is able to sufficiently cope with the operation.</p> |
