METHOD FOR FASTENING HOSE JOINT AND HARDWARE FOR FASTENING HOSE JOINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a fastening and holding work of a joint with good workability by preparing a plurality of kinds of different inner diameters of fastening hardware and connecting hoses to each other via a joint pipe and then fastening the joint pipe-inserted part by using the fastening hardware matching with the diameter of the hose. SOLUTION: Hardware 1 for fastening a hose joint has a fastening belt 4 wound around the part 2a into which the joint pipe 3 of a hose 2 is inserted and an engaging claw integrally formed with the fastening belt 4 and a locking member 5 at the other end. A plurality of kinds of the hardware 1 for fastening a hose joint are prepared matching with the kinds of the diameter of the hose used at a construction site and the hoses 2 are connected to each other via the joint pipe 3 and then the hardware 1 for fastening a hose joint matching with the diameter of the hose 2 is installed into the joint pipe-inserted part 2a. The hose 2 is held on the joint pipe 3 in a pressed state only by tilting a lever 7 to fix the locking member 5. This can always fasten and hold the joint pipe-inserted part of the hose by suitable fastening force.
