IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE FOR MULTI-POINT CONFERENCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly progress a conference while providing the feeling of depth into an image at a terminal for the multi-spot conference and expressing the feeling of presence just like surrounding a conference table. SOLUTION: Respective terminals 2a-2d prepare icons for operation on the walls, ceiling, table and microphone on the table through computer graphics preparing means 21 and while using a video data compositing means 22, a signal compositing video data from a microcomputer unit(MCU) 1 and a material data signal from a material data compositing means 23 are synthesized by a video signal synthesizing means 24. After the synthesization, conference participants are projected on the walls of a conference room by a video signal display means 25 and the conditions just like progressing the conference in the real conference room while surrounding the table are displayed on the screen as images.
