PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying device which is capable of copying characters, etc., at the center location or an arbitrary location of paper when a magnified/ reduced copying is performed. SOLUTION: An original size and the data area of the characters, etc., in an original are converted into coordinate data in an original reading part 1 and the coordinate data is inputted in a calculation part 4 via a storage part 2. The paper size for a magnification, etc., is inputted as coordinate data in a monitor part 3 and further, also this coordinate data is inputted in the calculation part 4. In the calculation part 4, a magnification and the data area location after the magnification are calculated from these coordinate data. At this stage, the calculation part 4 performs the calculation so that the data area may be located at the center of copying paper. Based on this arithmetic result, a magnified copying is performed in a copying part 6 via a control part 5. |
