摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication equipment provided with frequency compensating function for correcting even a phase error lower than the quantization level of a phase detection circuit as well. SOLUTION: A radio communication signal from a base station is inputted through an antenna 1 to a reception circuit 2, converted to an intermediate frequency signal at this circuit while using the received local oscillation signal of a frequency synthesizer 3, sampled by an A/D converter 4 and inputted to a phase detection circuit 5 later and the phase of the received signal is detected. The phase detected at this circuit is inputted to an (n)-symbol phase difference detection circuit 8, and the phase difference signals of phase difference among symbols from one to four are found. Then, a frequency error detection circuit 9 respectively detects the phase errors of symbol intervals from one to four from these phase difference signals and among these errors, the phase error signal of the symbol interval, which is not zero but is narrowest, is selectively outputted as a frequency error signal. Then, even based on this frequency error signal, the frequency error is corrected as well.
