<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing device provided with the function of guide for positioning the cassette different in size and the unlocking mechanism of a cassette cover, and having high reliability even when there is the difference in the thickness of the cassettes. SOLUTION: A pair of positioning guide members 51, 51 for, guiding both side surfaces of the small cassette is provided retractably on the cassette supporting surface of the cassette holder 7 by spring members 52, 52, and an unlocking piece 59 for a cassette cover, which is used also for a butting piece of the small cassette, is arranged on one positioning guide member 51, and the butting piece 59a of the small cassette is arranged on another positioning guide member 51. Both side plates of the cassette holder 7 form guide plates 65 for guiding both of the side surfaces of the large cassette, and the unlocking pieces 66, (66) of cassette cover for the large cassette are provided on the cassette holder 7.</p> |
