摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a gas leakage from developing, and at the same time, absorb a displacement which develops by an expansion due to a high temperature gas or the movement in the vertical direction by a method wherein a non-metal expansion joint is provided in the duct longitudinal derection by superposing on a double metal expansion joint. SOLUTION: On the upper surface of an outer peripheral cover 8 of a metal expansion joint 18 which is doubly connected in the longitudinal direction of a high temperature duct 12, a non-metal expansion material 1 to absorb a large displacement, of which the internal side, heat insulating materials 2, 3 are arranged, is fixed on an attaching table 7 by an attaching bolt 6 with a packing 4 in-between, and with a holding plate 5. The metal expansion joint 18 is doubly connected with a connecting metal fitting 20 which is inserted at an intermediate location, and respective ends on the other sides are fixed with a metal expansion joint attaching metal fitting 11. Also, on the internal surface of the outer peripheral cover 8 of the metal expansion joint 18, a heat insulating material 9 to protect the joint, is provided. Then, in a space to the heat insulating material 9, which is formed by the shape (arc) of a heat insulating material 3, a thermometer 10 or an O2 gas analyzer gauge 21 is provided, and a repair timing is judged.</p>
