PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To match a cursor to a half size character even when the number of touch matrixes corresponds to full size characters by realizing processing by the touch of one time for the full size characters, by the touch of one time when it is the character on the left side of the matrix and by the touch of two times when it is the character on the right side for the half size characters. SOLUTION: When a touch panel is touched, which matrix of the touch panel is touched is detected and whether or not the character is present in the corresponding matrix of a liquid crystal display corresponding to the matrix is judged. When the character is present and the character is the full size character (A), the cursor is matched to the character. On the other hand, when it is the half size character (B), whether or not it is the same matrix as the matrix touched in a previous time is judged. Then, when it is not the same matrix, the cursor is matched to the half size character of the left half of a touched matrix part. When it is the same matrix, the cursor is matched to the half size character on the side different from the previous time. |
