PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and exactly transmit the information by converting an input character string or input numeric symbol string by making reference to a conversion table showing the correspondence between the reading of characters of the character string and the reading of numeric symbols of the numeric symbol string. SOLUTION: This numeric symbol conversion device contains a conversion table 6 which shows the correspondence between the reading of characters of a character string and the reading of numeric symbols of a numeric symbol string. A conversion means 5 refers to the table 6 to convert the character string or the numeric symbol string received from an input means 4 into a numeric symbol string or a character string. The numeric symbol conversion device also contains a dictionary 8 which stores the past conversion examples corresponding to the numeric symbol or character string. Then a dictionary retrieval means 7 refers to the dictionary 8 based on the converted numeric symbol or character string to retrieve the corresponding character or numeric symbol string to output them via an output means 9. In such a constitution, a human being can read and understand the numeric symbol string that is converted from an inputted daily conversation. |
