PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of an accumulation buffer mechanism to be used for image processing. SOLUTION: Various components in color pixels stored in an accumulation buffer 130 and components corresponding to color pixels in a frame buffer are substantially simultaneously processed by section multiplying operation and section adding operation. The weight of the buffer 130 is substantially simultaneously multiplied by respective components of buffer pixels by the section multiplying operation. In an example, weighting buffer pixels are controlled so as to effectively increase the weight range of the buffer 130 which can be effectively processed by a processor 102. Each load and store unit in the processor 102 extracts succeeding frame pixels and succeeding accumulation buffer pixels from the frame buffer and the buffer 130 in order to execute the post processing of an arithmetic processing unit in the processor 102, and during the extraction, the arithmetic processing unit substantially simultaneously processes frame pixels and accumulation buffer pixels extracted in the preceding processing. |
