The circuit includes a variable gain amplifier (10) with two differential input terminals. A reference voltage is applied to one of the terminals. The amplifier output is connected to a peak value detector (12) and an integrator (16). The integrator includes a capacitor (C) which is connected to earth. A second capacitor (C1) is connected between the two differential terminals. This capacitor is integrated on the same chip as the main circuit.
