摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and a material in which the lapse of a prescribed time at a prescribed temperature can be displayed simply and at a low cost by a clear change in a hue in such a way that the polymerization reaction of an oxidative polymerizing pigment is started by a simple operation which brings two carriers into contact with each other. SOLUTION: An agent A and an agent B in a noncontact state are brought into contact with each other, an oxidative polymerizing pigment is polymerized, and a time or temperature-time integrated value is displayed as a color change. In this case, the agent A and the agent B are composed of a combination of the oxidative polymerizing pigment and an oxidizing agent. Alternatively, a material is composed of a layer which contains an agent A carried in a carrier and of a layer which contains the agent A and an agent B in a noncontact state, the respective layers are brought into contact, an oxidative polymerizing pigment is polymerized, and a time or temperature-time integrated value is displayed as a color change.
