PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of miscopying by displaying plural different paper sizes of which at least one side have the same length as that of one side of a detected paper sheet, as selections. SOLUTION: When a manual feeding tray has paper sheets, the positions of side regulating plates 301a and 301b, that is, the value of a resistor 306 and the output value of a sensor 307 are detected. The size of the papers is judged by the detected values. Consequently, when one paper size can not be specified, a size selecting mode for specifying the paper size, according to the display of a control panel is set and a ten key input mode for numerically inputting an actual paper size is reset to display a picture for selecting a regular size paper on a touch display panel provided on the control panel. On the other hand, when one paper size is specified, the size selecting mode is reset to display the size of the detected paper on the display panel. |
