<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single plate system liquid crystal display device capable of also being suitable for a data display without causing pixel deviation at every line and also being suitable for a further high definition display by enhancing availability of light. SOLUTION: Respective pixels are divided by source lines SR1, SG1..., gate lines G1, G2... and CS lines C1, C2..., and a pixel shape forms a hexagon. Sets of three hexagonal pixels (R11, G11, B11), (R21, G21, B21)... form pixels, and stride across the gate lines G1, G2..., and the CS lines C1, C2... pass through the boundary of the pixels, and auxiliary capacity is formed between the lines and the top and bottom pixels. TFTs(thin film transistor) are arranged on the parts that the gate and source lines are arranged in parallel, and when a gate is turned on, a video signal is applied from a source side to a pixel electrode.</p> |
