PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attain a high transmission speed of information. SOLUTION: Input data inputted as a bit stream of serial data are sent to an SP shift register 11 of an optical transmitter 1, in which the data are converted into data sets of 3 bits each and they are fed to a modulation circuit 12. Then the modulation circuit 12 generates a drive signal to light up in a corresponding color or extinguish a color monitor 13. Then the color monitor 13 is lighted or extinguished depending on a received drive signal. The light of the screen of the color monitor 13 is made incident to a light receiver 2, in which the light is decomposed into lights of each color and made incident into a sensor circuit 22. The sensor circuit 22 converts the presence/absence of the incident light into an electric signal, it is inputted to a PS shift register 23, from which the signal is outputted sequentially as serial data. |
