PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure releasing apparatus which can be used repeatedly through release of pressure without destruction of material. SOLUTION: A pressure releasing cover 17 is fitted movably under the air- tight condition via an O-ring 16 into a pressure releasing cylinder 15 which is provided surrounding a pressure releasing port 2 of a gas insulated housing 1. At the rear surface of the pressure releasing cover 17, the base end of the returning side of a plate spring 19 of the inverted C shape acting as an engaging spring is held by a holding plate 20 and is then fixed with a bolt 21. The free end part of the plate spring 19 is bent outwardly and its bending part 19a is engaged with the edge part of the has insulated housing 1 around the pressure releasing port 2. The plate spring 19 holds the pressure releasing cover 17 until the internal pressure applied to the pressure releasing cover 17 reaches the predetermined pressure and when the internal pressure exceeds the limit of engagement within the elastic range of the plate spring 19, engagement is broken. |
