PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic teller machine capable of strengthening the protecting mechanism against illegal use and improving safety. SOLUTION: When three erroneous password numbers are continuously inputted (107), a cash card is recovered and information such as an account number read out from a magnetic stripe is stored as abnormal information and the processing is ended (108) to wait for succeeding transaction operation (109). When a succeeding transaction is started in the state, information is read out from the magnetic stripe of the cash card and compared with information stored as abnormal information to discriminate the validity of the current inserted cash card. |
