<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic latent image development which excels in the environmental stability, fluidity, and heat resistant storage characteristic, can produce fine image without deletion in the solid image even through repetitive uses, and is suitable for formation of full-color images. SOLUTION: A toner concerned for the electrostatic latent image development includes colored resin particles, which contains a binder resin and a colorant, and titania particulates of anatase type which are turned hydrophobic by an agent provided for it, wherein the mean primary particle size of titania particulates and the BET specific surface area after the process of turning hydrophobic should meet the formula S=1125/D+k, where S is BET specific surface area of the titania particulates after being turned hydrophobic in m<2> /g, D is mean primary particle size of titania particulates in nm, and (k) is a number between zero and 60.</p> |
