<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small magnetic device having excellent magnetic characteristics and a method for easily manufacturing the magnetic device. SOLUTION: A magnetic device 1 comprises a first thin film 2 and a second thin film 3 having a coercive force greater than that of the first thin film 2, both formed on a substrate. When an alternating field less than the coercive force of the second thin film 3 is applied and the magnetization of the first thin film 2 is inverted, continuous inversion of magnetization occurs. When an alternating field greater than the coercive force of the second thin film 3 is applied, discontinuous and sudden inversion of magnetization occurs.</p> |
