PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensing device for the position of a moving object, with which it is possible to sense the position of a window pane, etc., accurately, set the initial position without involving complicated adjusting operations, embody in a simple structure at a low cost, and enhance the easiness in assembly works to a great extent. SOLUTION: A position sensing device concerned 30 has a spring pawl 58 which is formed in a single piece with a protection plate 200 to press a carrier 56 and constitute a clutch mechanism, and is installed opposite a cover plate 36 about a planetary gearing set (planetary gear 54 and carrier 56). Accordingly it is possible to install the protection plate 200 after the planetary gearing set, and the pressure contacting force does not act on the carrier 56 in the condition that the planetary gear 54 and carrier 56 are installed provisionally, so that the planetary gear 54 and carrier 56 will never levitate to cause positional dislocation, and the easiness in installing works can be enhanced to a great extent. |
