PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly heat any type of article to be heated by a method wherein an article to be heated is locally heated by electromagnetic wave, and at the same time, the article to be heated is heated by electromagnetic wave from a direction which is different from the local heating means. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave coming out from a magnetron 1, is emitted to the inside of a heating chamber 4 through a wave guide 2 and an electricity feeding chamber 3, etc., and a food (an article to be heated) 5 in the heating chamber 4 is heated. One part of the electromagnetic wave in the wave guide 2, locally heats an optional area of the food 5 by a rotary wave guide (local heating means) 6 in the electricity feeding chamber 3, by the electromagnetic wave from the bottom. The electromagnetic wave which has not been led to the rotary wave guide 6 side of the electromagnetic wave in the wave guide 2, is stirred by a stirrer (a second heating means) 12, and is dispersed in the heating chamber 4 from a stirrer opening 13. A control means 10 switches the allotment between the local heating electromagnetic wave from the bottom by the rotary wave guide 6, and the even heating electromagnetic wave from the top to the surrounding of the stirrer opening 13, by the angles of first and second switching means 20, 21 in the wave guide 2. |
