PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming device which gives a high resolution of image, can conduct the developing operation in good performance, and yields a high quality image free of fog and color mixing. SOLUTION: A color image forming device concerned has a photo-sensitive substance drum 10 as an image forming element on which toner images are overlapped through repetition of an operating cycle of electrostatic charging, image exposure, and inverted development, wherein a non-contact developing apparatus 13 using a single-component developer couple of nonmagnetic type is used to make the inverted development. The arrangement further includes a fog preventive member 50 equipped with a collection roller 51 or the like where a voltage of a high absolute value having the same polarity as the charging potential of the photo-sensitive substance drum 10 is impressed after the development and before the next charging. |
