A conveyor system (10) particularly adapted for feeding vehicle tires to a shredder mechanism (14) includes telescopic conveyor sections (30, 32) supported to removably, adjustably position an outlet end of a first conveyor section (30) relative to an inlet opening (18) of the shredder mechanism and to adjustably position an inlet end of a second conveyor section (32) at a convenient elevation for tire loading purposes.
