A circuit (1) for detecting a level of an input direct voltage (UX) comprises a comparator (4) for comparing the input direct voltage (UX) with a reference signal (UR), which by means of an integrator (26) is derived from pulses (I) whose charge quantity is variable in dependence on a comparator direct voltage (UCD) and which has a d.c. component (URD) and an a.c. component (URA) superposed on the d.c. component (URD), the comparator (4) supplying comparator pulses (UCI) of a given pulse duration (TC) when the d.c. component (URD), which corresponds to a given charge quantity of the pulses (I), is substantially equal to the input direct voltage (UX), and the level of the input direct voltage (UX) being determined from characteristic information (KI) representing the given charge quantity of the pulses (I) and from time information (ZI) representing the pulse duration (TC) of the comparator pulses (UCI) by means of a logic device (11). |
