Herbicidal composition, especially for killing trees or shrubs

A solid, shaped plant treatment composition (A) is claimed, comprising a systemic herbicide (I) homogeneously distributed in a polymeric carrier material (II) as binder. (A) can be can be placed in the region of the sap flow path of individual plants to be killed. Also claimed are (i) the preparation of (A) by incorporating (I) in (II) by mixing or in situ polymerisation then shaping the mixture and (ii) a method for killing individual plants with (I) by placing (A) in the region of the sap flow path of the plants.
