<p>The present invention provides a modular frame assembly (22) for an equipment cabinet having a plurality of members (24) releasably secured together. At least first, second and third frame members (24) are provided, each having a securing tab (48) and an offset securing tab (50) projecting therefrom. A receiving cavity (52, 54) is formed in each of the tabs (48, 50) and a plurality of fasteners (34) are provided which are insertable into the cavities (52, 54) to releasably secure the first, second and third frame members (24) together. This provides a modular frame assembly (22) that allows disassembly of a single frame member (24) by removing two of the fasteners (34) at each corner. The third fastener (34) remains in place and maintains the integrity of the remaining two frame members (24). Additionally, each frame member (24) is preferably a universal member which allows either end to mate with any two other ends.</p> |
