Photosignal system for information transmission

The information is transmitted as light pulses of discharge of arc lamps. The coded, electrical analogue or digital signals are modulated by targetted changes of the operational frequencies of the transmitter lamps. A certain number of the arc lamps, of the transmitter, transmit the modulated light pulses, for a specific time period. The modulated light pulse frequencies of the lamps are in a defined frequency range, which excludes the perception of the individual light pulses by the human eye. The modulated light pulses are received by a unit, which determines the light pulse frequency, from which the receiver recovers the analogue or digital modulation signal, and determines the contained information for processing.
