The fastening arrangement is for a flexible bag, bellows or grommet (4). the bellows may especially accommodate sideways or radial movement of a shaft (10) swivelling on a universal joint. The bellows may have a broad lip which slides on a smooth surface on the rotating shaft. There is a U-shaped bend between this sliding and sealing lip and an outer bead (5) which is trapped between a groove (6) in an outer bell or housing (2) and a groove (7) in an inner retaining ring (3) which may be snapped into place over the bead.
