The operating point setting circuit uses a current source (3) connected between a supply potential (8) and the control input of the signal transistor (2) and a setting transistor (4) inserted between a reference potential (9) and the signal transistor control input. A resistor (5) is coupled between the control inputs of the signal transistor and the setting transistor, with a capacitor between the setting transistor control input and the reference potential.
