<p>Apparatus for removing extraneous matter from a ground crop includes an array of adjacent, counter-rotating rollers (1, 2). The rollers are adapted to pass a ground crop along the rollers (1, 2) as the rollers rotate towards adjacent ends of the rollers (1, 2). An array of rotatable members (9) are located adjacent the adjacent ends of the rollers (1, 2). Each rotatable member (9) has an axis of rotation which is transverse to the axes of rotation of the rollers (1, 2) and substantially parallel to a plane defined by the axes of rotation of the rollers (1, 2).</p> |
