The invention relates to a horizontally turnable laboratory apparatus (1), comprising a bottom plate (2) on which the entire apparatus rests. There is provided low friction means between the top surface of said bottom plate and the bottom surface of said apparatus, to render the apparatus easily turnable in the horizontal plane. It also comprises means (7) for restricting the movement of the apparatus to a circular movement around a point on the bottom plate (2).
