The purpose of the invention is the automatic joining of electrical lines in parts of an aircraft. The technical problem is to make connection and disconnection more reliable and is solved as follows: the aligning device includes at least one socket/pin pair mounted concentrically on one of the elements to be joined and, on the other, one hollow capturing element with cylindrical and conical sections. The pin in the device has a spherical end and an annular projection with a toroidal surface. The conical section of the hollow capturing element has radial projections arranged so as to be capable of displacement in grooves with start sections in the socket. The device is provided with a device for the autonomous disconnection of the plug/socket units; this device includes a lever mechanism fitted on either of the elements and with at least one slave element. In addition, the plug/socket units and elements of the plug/socket alignment device are mounted on panels at least one of which is joined resiliently to the spring shock absorber matching the element to be joined, while the drive lever mechanism is mounted on the panel.
