Low cost sewing machine with simple needle plus thread interchange
摘要
A sewing machine has: a motor (10) for driving a mainshaft; a needle bar (11) which moves up and down as the main shaft motor turns; a mechanism (3) having a pivoting element (503) for changing the thread by displacing a thread run (509), with an opening for guiding a thread, from a stand-by position to a changeover position and; a unit (16) for controlling the rotation of the mainshaft motor. Preferably the pivoting element has a first holder (41) to let it position the thread run in the changeover position and a second holder (32) to let it position the thread run in the stand-by position. The first holder is connected to the mainshaft motor via a rotating piece (13) which causes it to pivot and the second holder is connected to a drive motor (508) which causes it to pivot. A displacement mechanism (2) has a motor-powered (30) frame (31) which can be displaced sideways relative to the machine frame (300) and carries several pivoting holders. In a lower section of the displacement frame is a needle holder (15) extending sideways relative to the machine frame and having many sections shaped as recesses for holding needle shafts each under a second holder. These recesses are at intervals along a plate in the needle holder and have an elastic support for the needle shafts.
