<p>A custom sized plastic tote tray (26) formed by combining portions of one or more injection molded tote trays (10). For a smaller injection molded tote tray, a middle portion (16) of the tray is cut and removed leaving two end portions (14, 15) of the injection molded tote tray (10). The two end portions (14, 15) are simultaneously heated and fused together creating one continuous mirror weld (32) without the use of any additional welding material. For a larger injection molded tote tray, a portion (78) of each of two injection molded tote trays (60) is cut off and removed leaving a remaining portion (68, 84) from each tray with a cut edge. The cut edges (74, 90) of the remaining portions (68, 84) of the two trays are simultaneously heated and fused together creating a continuous mirror weld (98) without the use of a welding rod or any additional welding material.</p> |
