Semiconductor power module for e.g. IGBT in control of electrical motor

The module includes several elements in a bridge circuit, each bridge circuit forming semiconductor element being contained in an element chip (10), e.g. an IGBT. There are several driver chips (20), containing integrated circuits, each chip allocated to one semiconductor element and operated at a potential dependent on it. A signal processing chip (30) has an integrated circuit common to all driver chips and adapts the allocated signals to the operational potential of each driver chip respectively. There is a wiring conductor (40) for connecting the semiconductor elements, and signal lines (50) couple the driver chips to the signal processing ones. The driver chips are provided close to the semiconductor element chips and operate at the same voltage as the element chips.
