CEILING SUSPENDING TYPE AIR-CONDITIONER

A ceiling suspending type air-conditioner comprising a body-forming cabinet having an upper surface opposed to a ceiling surface, a bottom surface opposed to a floor surface, a rear surface and a front surface, characterized in that the air-conditioner is provided with a body-forming cabinet of a forwardly convergent side elevational shape, the bottom surface of which inclines gradually upward from the rear surface thereof toward the front surface thereof, and the upper surface of which inclines downward in the vicinity of the front surface thereof, and an outlet provided in the substantially convergent portion of the cabinet and opened diagonally downward with respect to the ceiling surface. Owing to this construction, the height of the front portion of the body-forming cabinet becomes smaller, so that a sense of oppression of a user can be alleviated. This enables an improved ceiling suspending type air-conditioner to be provided which is capable of improving the performance and reliability thereof without spoiling the ease of assembling work, and which has a small-height structure and is substantially in harmony with the other interior goods.
